This day and age life seems to follow a familiar cycle for hard working mums and dads.
It begins early in the working week with early mornings, long hours, running the kids around and by Friday we generally wearing ourselves thin – it’s a case of survival of the fittest!
Well, after surviving the working week, it’s now that part of the cycle where we take time to live a little. We all want the best for our kids. This is why we do all the running around and do the long hours in the first place. But, to keep up that pace (phew!) and provide them with what they need, we need to take time to relax and revive.
Perhaps a trip to a local winery or kids play park you have never visited. For me I like to take a weekend off and go someplace different where I can’t look at “what needs to be done around here” and allow the mind to clear. Whatever you choose, remember to relax and revive to survive.
