Have You Reached the Pinnacle? Pinnacle Walks in the Grampians
18 September 2015 - The Grampians

The views from the Pinnacle stretch out across Galls Gap and beyond (image © Paul Brownbridge/Peak Multimedia).
It’s one of the best vantage points in the Grampians National Park so a hike up the Pinnacle is well worth it.
There are a couple of different walking options to get there.

Family fun climbing the Pinnacle!
For families, we suggest you drive from Serenity Halls Gap to the Sundial car park and commence your walk to the Pinnacle via Devil’s Gap from here. (For more serious hikers, a strenuous walk can be commenced at the Wonderland car park , Venus Baths or even from Serenity Accommodation Halls Gap).
The undulating track meanders along but, you will have to climb over a rock or two ! Eventually, you come to a couple of steep sets of stairs – hard work going up and make sure you keep your footing on the way down!
Starting just after Silent Street, the views are breathtaking.
The walking tracks are well maintained by Parks Victoria and directions are clearly marked with arrows.
Keep a look out for wildlife along the way, we’ve seen kangaroos, echidnas and lots of birds.
Most of all, be sure to breath in lots of fresh air!
